How do I subscribe to Farm Journal TV?

You can subscribe to Farm Journal TV in multiple ways:


On your computer:

  1. Visit https://farmjournaltv.com/.

  2. Click on "Join" or "Start Your Free Trial".

  3. Enter your email address and name.

  4. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

  5. Complete the Captcha screen to verify that you are not a robot.

  6. Click "Continue" button.

  7. Add your payment details. You will not be charged during your Free Trial.

  8. Click "Start my free trial" button.

  9. Go to your email inbox and look for an email from Farm Journal TV.

  10. In the email, activate your account by confirming your email address.

On your phone:

  1. Go to Apple app store or Android app store (Google Play).

  2. Search for "Farm Journal TV".

  3. Download the app.

  4. Open the app and click "Join Now".

  5. Click "Choose Your Plan" button.

  6. Click "Continue Checkout" button.

  7. Create an account. 

  8. Review and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

  9. Click "Complete Order".

  10. Verify your email. 

On your connect TV or smart TV:

  1. Search for "Farm Journal TV" in your TV's app store.

  2. Download the app.

  3. Open the app and go to Settings.

  4. Click "Join".

  5. Follow the Join process for your specific app. The experience on different connected TVs and smart TVs might vary. 

NOTE: Some apps require you to create a subscription on your computer first, at https://farmjournaltv.com/. Then, connect to an app by logging in using the same email address and password you used to create your subscription.


NOTE: Signing up for our free trial allows you to try Farm Journal TV without being charged. Once the free trial expires, you’ll become a paying subscriber and will be billed monthly or annually at the subscription price set when you first began your free trial. To avoid being charged after starting a trial, please cancel the trial before expiration.

How do I create an account password so that I can login across devices?

If you'd like to watch Farm Journal TV across devices, then you must have an account password. The email address and password associated with your account will be used to log into any device on which you have the Farm Journal TV app installed.


Some Farm Journal TV subscriptions use an email link verification or an app store login during initial set-up and do not require an account password. You must set an account password before you can access Farm Journal TV across all devices.


To set up an account password, please visit https://farmjournaltv.com/ on your computer:

  1. In your web browser, go to https://farmjournaltv.com/.

  2. Click on Sign In button.

  3. Enter your email. This must be the email address used during the initial account set up.

  4. Go to your email inbox. Look for an email titled "Sign in to Farm Journal TV".

  5. In the email, click the "Sign In" button.

  6. Click on your Farm Journal TV profile in the menu.

  7. Scroll down to "set new password".

  8. Click "Continue via email".

  9. Check your email inbox for an email titled "Password Reset Instructions".

  10. In the email, click "Reset password" link.

  11. Enter your new password.

I have started a Free Trial. How do I start watching Farm Journal TV on my television?

You can watch Farm Journal TV on any of these connect TVs or smart TVs:

  • Roku

  • Fire TV

  • Apple TV

  • Android TV

  • Samsung TV

  • Chromecast (project to TV from Android mobile app)

  • Apple Airplay (project to TV from iPhone mobile app)

To start watching, 

  1. Download the Farm Journal TV app on your device.

  2. Open the Farm Journal TV app.

  3. In the app, go to Settings.

  4. Select "Sign In".

  5. Select "Sign in with email address".

  6. Select "email".

  7. Enter your email address and account password. 


If you have not yet established an account password, please visit https://farmjournaltv.com/ on your computer:

  1. In your web browser, go to https://farmjournaltv.com/.

  2. Click on Sign In button.

If I created my subscription on the FarmJournalTV.com website, can I also download and login to Farm Journal TV apps on my phone and TV?

Yes! You can use your Farm Journal TV subscription across all devices. Use the same email and password associated with your website account. 


NOTE: If you did not establish a password during your initial account set-up, then you must set up an account password before you can access Farm Journal TV on other devices. To set your password:

  1. In your web browser, click on your Farm Journal TV profile in the menu.

  2. Scroll down to "set new password".

  3. Click "Continue via email".

  4. Check your email inbox for an email titled "Password Reset Instructions".

  5. In the email, click "Reset password" link.

  6. Enter your new password.

If I created my subscription on the mobile phone app or on the TV app, can I also login to the FarmJournalTV.com website in my browser to view content?

Yes!

  1. Visit https://farmjournaltv.com/ in your web browser and click "Sign in" at the top of the screen.

  2. Enter your email address associated with your mobile app subscription.

  3. Select your email inbox type (Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo) or open up the your email account in a new tab in the same browser.

  4. Click on the link in the email to login to the Farm Journal TV website.

NOTE: Once you have logged into FarmJournalTV.com in your browser, set your password. This will allow you to login into any device going forward. To set your password:

  1. In your web browser, click on your Farm Journal TV profile in the menu.

  2. Scroll down to "set new password".

  3. Click "Continue via email".

  4. Check your email inbox for an email titled "Password Reset Instructions".

  5. In the email, click "Reset password" link.

  6. Enter your new password.

What is included in my Farm Journal TV subscription?

Your Farm Journal TV subscription includes access to Farm Journal's full catalogue of shows. It is the only place online where you can watch full episodes of your favorite Farm Journal programming, including:

  • AgDay - daily episodes released first to Farm Journal TV subscribers!

  • U.S. Farm Report - daily episodes released first to Farm Journal TV subscribers!

How do I access my Farm Journal TV account?

To access your Farm Journal TV account, click Sign In at the top right of the page and enter your email address. You can request a sign-in link be sent to your email address to sign in without the need for your password or you can enter your password without requesting a sign-in link.

How do I reset my password?
On the Sign In page, click Sign in with password and then click on set new password, enter the email associated with your account, and click Send Instructions. The instruction email will arrive in your inbox shortly. In the email, click Reset Password, and you will be directed to select a new password before being redirected to the catalog page. If you have trouble remembering your password, you can also use our Passwordless Sign-In option by requesting a Sign-In Link on the login page.

What happens after my Free Trial?

Signing up for our free trial allows you to try Farm Journal TV without being charged. Once the free trial expires, you’ll become a paying subscriber and will be billed monthly or annually at the subscription price set when you first began your free trial. To avoid being charged after starting a trial, please cancel the trial before expiration.

How do I pause or cancel my recurring subscription?
To manage your subscription, log into your account and click on your Profile in the top right corner. From there, select Purchases. You can choose to either pause or cancel your membership by clicking End Membership.
Can I create multiple accounts with the same email address?
No, each email address can only be associated with one account. If you believe you already have an account and can’t remember the login details, please use the Forgot Password link.

How do I change my subscription plan or update my billing information?

To change your subscription plan or to update your billing information, sign into your account and click Profile at the top right. Then, select Purchases. To change your membership plan, click on Manage Plan under the Membership section and follow the prompts to switch to a different option. To update your billing information, click on Change Payment Method under the Payment Method section and enter your new billing details.

Why is my credit card being declined?
Many credit/debit cards have online purchase restrictions. If your card is being declined, please contact your credit card company to let them know the purchase you would like to make is valid. Also, certain credit/debit cards do not allow for recurring subscription billing, and therefore, may be denied.

How do I access the Farm Journal video library?

Once you sign into your account, navigate the Watch section on the top menu to access all of our videos.

Can I download videos to save them to my device?

If you're watching Farm Journal TV via a web browser, the content is available for streaming only and cannot be downloaded directly to your device. If you're using our mobile app, you can save videos for offline playback, allowing you to watch your chosen videos later without an internet connection.

Why am I experiencing buffering or playback issues?
Buffering or playback issues are often related to your internet connection. We recommend a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for smooth streaming. You can also try refreshing the page, using a different browser, or clearing your cache.

Which browsers are supported?

We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome. We also support Firefox and Safari browser released within the last five years.  You may experience playback issues when using an out-of-date browser or any version of Internet Explorer.

Can I watch videos using Chromecast and AirPlay?

Yes, Chromecast and Airplay are compatible with Farm Journal TV.  

To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast.  Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.

To use AirPlay: Open the video on your apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.

Can I watch videos on my TV without using an app?

Yes, by connecting your laptop directly to your TV with an HDMI cable, you will be able to watch Farm Journal TV videos from our site on your TV.

How do I purchase a gift subscription?
To purchase a gift subscription, scroll to the bottom of any page on the website and click “Buy a Gift Card” in the footer. You’ll need to log into your account or create one if you don’t already have one. Then, select the subscription or bundle you’d like to gift, choose the duration of the gift, and complete your purchase by entering your payment details. After purchasing, you’ll receive a confirmation page and a confirmation email with the gift code, and a shareable link that you can send to your recipient.
How do I redeem a gift subscription?
To redeem a gift subscription, use the link shared with you by the gift sender. Clicking the link will automatically apply the gift to your account. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one.
What is the Refund Policy?

We offer a free trial so you can explore Farm Journal TV before any charges are applied. After this trial period, we do not issue refunds once billing begins.

Your subscription will automatically renew—monthly or annually—based on the plan you selected.

You can cancel anytime. Please cancel before the end of your trial or current billing cycle. When you cancel, you'll continue to have access through the remainder of your paid period or trial.
